Early access · onboarding design partners

QA that grows with your product.

OwnQA is your own conversational QA agent. Ask it to check a feature in plain language — it tests your web app in a real browser, hands back screenshots and a clear report, and remembers what it learned so every run makes the next one smarter.

No test scripts to write. Works from your team chat or your AI coding assistant via MCP.

See it in 30 seconds

Ask. Explore. Report. Learn.

One request in chat becomes a real browser session, a report with screenshots, and a smarter map of your app for next time.

The problem

Your product ships faster than your test suite.

Most teams know which features matter. What they lack is a fast, low-effort way to confirm those features still work — today, on this build.

Scripts lag behind the product

End-to-end suites take real engineering time to write and even more to maintain. New features often ship before anyone automates them.

Manual checks don't scale

"Can someone click through signup before we release?" works until it doesn't. The results live in someone's head, not in a report.

Visibility stops at engineering

PMs and POs want to know if a feature is healthy without reading CI logs or waiting for the next QA cycle.

How it works

A testing loop that compounds.

Every run follows the same four steps — and the last one is what makes OwnQA different from a one-off script.

  1. 01

    Ask

Describe what to check, in chat or from your IDE: "Test password reset on staging."

  2. 02

    Explore

The agent drives a real browser — navigating, clicking, filling forms — and adapts when the UI changes.

  3. 03

    Report

You get pass/fail per step, screenshots of every stage, and a shareable report of what was actually observed.

  4. 04

    Learn

New pages, flows and business rules are added to a living map of your app, ready to be re-checked on the next run.

Incremental by design

Coverage that grows with every run.

You don't write a test plan up front. Each run adds what the agent discovered, so coverage expands naturally as your team uses it — and as your product evolves.

Illustrative example. Known flows are re-checked on demand as regressions; newly discovered ones are highlighted for review.

Features

Everything a QA pass needs. Nothing you have to script.

Plain-language requests

Ask for a check the way you'd ask a teammate. No DSL, no selectors, no test framework to learn.

Real browser automation

Runs on Playwright in a real Chromium session — the same engine your users see, not a simulation.

Evidence, not guesses

Screenshots at every step and a structured report you can drop into a ticket, a PR or a release note.

Living app map

The agent keeps a model of your pages, flows and rules. Knowledge carries over between runs instead of starting from zero.

One-line regression checks

"Re-run everything you know about checkout." Previously learned flows become a regression pass you can repeat any time.

Built for your workflow

Use it from team chat or call it as an MCP tool from the AI assistant already in your editor.

Integrations

Meets your team where it already works.

No new dashboard to babysit. OwnQA plugs into the tools your developers, QAs and product people already have open.

Team chat Prototype

Ask for a check in a channel, get the report and screenshots in the thread. Everyone sees the same evidence.

MCP for AI assistants Prototype

Expose OwnQA as an MCP tool so your coding assistant can verify a change in the browser before you open a PR.

// in your AI assistant > use ownqa to verify the new filters on localhost:3000

CI & preview deploys Roadmap

Trigger a regression pass on every preview environment and post a summary back to the pull request.

Who it's for

One source of truth on feature health.

Developers

Verify before you merge

Check a change end-to-end in a real browser without writing or fixing a single E2E test.

QA engineers

Focus on the hard cases

Hand off repetitive click-throughs and spend your time on exploratory testing and edge cases.

Product managers

Answers without a ticket

Ask "does the new pricing page work?" and get an answer with screenshots — no engineer interrupted.

Product owners

Release with confidence

Before a demo or release, get a readable health check of the flows that matter most.

FAQ

Questions teams ask us.

Can I sign up and use OwnQA today?

Not self-serve yet. OwnQA is in early access: we're working with a small group of design partners and giving guided demos. Request one below and we'll get in touch.

Does it replace our existing test suite?

No — it complements it. Keep your unit and integration tests. OwnQA covers the end-to-end, "does this actually work for a user" layer that's usually the most expensive to automate and the first to go stale.

What kinds of apps can it test?

Web applications reachable from a browser — local dev servers, staging and preview environments. It interacts with the UI the way a user would, so it's not tied to a specific frontend framework.

What does "grows with your product" mean in practice?

Each run records the pages, flows and rules the agent discovered. The next time you ask, it starts from that knowledge — so it can re-check known flows as regressions and spend its effort on what's new or changed.

Should we point it at production?

We recommend staging or preview environments with test accounts and test payment methods. That keeps runs repeatable and avoids touching real customer data.

Own your QA.

See OwnQA test your app. We're onboarding a small number of design partner teams — tell us about your product and we'll set up a guided walkthrough.
